Stars Microelectronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited (SMT), a Thai electronics manufacturing and assembly company, has successfully completed the verification of its organizational greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions report in accordance with the international standard ISO 14064-1:2018. This milestone reflects the company’s commitment to systematically enhancing its greenhouse gas management practices.

Dr. Nunticha Chaikul, Vice Chairperson of the Executive Committee and Chairperson of the Sustainability Development Committee, represented SMT in receiving the ISO 14064-1:2018 verification certificate. The certificate was presented by Mr. Kullatouch Boonbongkarn, Country Manager of BSI Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd., at Panjathani Tower on February 20, 2026. The achievement demonstrates the company’s readiness to manage carbon data in a structured and systematic manner.

This verification highlights SMT’s capability to measure, calculate, and report greenhouse gas emissions in line with international practices, strengthening confidence among global customers and business partners. Particularly in areas related to carbon footprint transparency and sustainable supply chain management.

The certification marks another significant step in advancing the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework. It supports environmental risk management and enhances preparedness for future carbon-related regulations, in alignment with SMT’s vision of achieving stable business growth while maintaining long-term responsibility toward society and the environment.
